Weekly Competition — Official Rules
The Swiftr weekly competition is free to enter, open to runners in the UK aged 18 and over, and decided by a random draw from everybody who entered and ran that week.
The short version: enter once with your details, run any time that week, and you are in. There is nothing to buy and nothing to upload.
01Who is running this
The Swiftr Weekly Competition (the “Competition”) is run and paid for by Swiftr, the operator of the Swiftr app and swiftr.run (the “Promoter”). You can reach us at team@swiftr.run.
The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Apple. Apple has no involvement in it and no liability for it. The same is true of Strava and of Instagram, neither of which is a sponsor of the Competition.
02No purchase necessary
Entry is free and there is nothing to buy, at any stage. You do not need to spend money to enter, to qualify, to increase your number of entries or to claim the prize. Nothing on Swiftr is currently sold, and SWIFTR. PTS cannot be bought.
You need a Swiftr account, which is free, and a Strava account, which is free. Your own internet and mobile data costs are your own.
03Who can enter
You can enter if you are:
- 18 or over on the day you enter, and
- resident in the United Kingdom, with a UK mobile number we can text you on.
Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families and anyone professionally connected with the Competition cannot enter.
We may ask for proof of age, identity or address before paying a prize, and we may disqualify an entry we cannot verify.
04How to enter, and how to qualify
There are two steps and they are not the same thing. Entering is not being in the draw.
- Enter — open the Competition card on your Swiftr home screen and give us your name, email address and UK mobile number. This takes about twenty seconds and can be done once per competition.
- Qualify — run at least once during the competition week. We read the run from your connected Strava account automatically; there is nothing to upload and no photograph to send.
Treadmill runs, manually entered activities and runs with no GPS trace do not qualify. Neither does an activity that is not a run.
Extra entries
Each competition gives you a personal share link. Every person who joins Swiftr on your link and completes a qualifying run in the same week gives you one additional entry. There is no payment involved and no limit on how many people you may share it with, but entries generated by fake, duplicate or automated accounts are void and may disqualify you entirely.
Following us on Instagram at @swiftr.run is optional and does not affect your entry or your chance of winning.
05When it opens and closes
Each Competition runs over a single ISO week — Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59, UK time. Your run must be completed inside that window, and your entry details must be with us before it closes.
A run that Strava has not published by the time we draw cannot be counted, so leave time for it to sync.
06The prize
One winner per competition receives 20,000 SWIFTR. PTS, credited to their Swiftr account.
SWIFTR. PTS are a virtual in-app score. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot currently be exchanged for anything else. They are used to enter and stake races inside Swiftr. There is no cash alternative and the prize is not transferable.
We may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if we have to, and we will say so if we do.
07How the winner is picked
After the competition week closes, one winner is drawn at random from all qualifying entries, by or under the supervision of the Promoter. Every entry has an equal chance.
Your odds depend on how many qualifying entries there are that week, which we cannot know in advance.
We contact the winner by text or email on the mobile number or address they entered with, normally within seven days of the draw closing. If we cannot reach a winner, or they do not respond within 14 days, we may draw again.
The name of the winner (first name and county) can be had by writing to team@swiftr.run within one month of the draw closing.
08Fair play
We may disqualify any entry, and reclaim any prize already paid, where we reasonably believe somebody has cheated, used more than one account, falsified a run, manipulated an activity file, or otherwise acted unfairly or in breach of our Terms & Conditions.
The Promoter’s decision on eligibility, qualification and disqualification is final, and we do not enter into correspondence about individual decisions beyond explaining them once.
09Your details
We use the name, email address and mobile number you enter with to run the Competition and to tell you if you have won. How we handle that, how long we keep it and how to have it deleted are set out in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account, and everything we hold with it, from Settings inside the app at any time.
10General
We may cancel, suspend or change the Competition, or these rules, if something outside our reasonable control makes running it unfair or impossible. We will publish any change here.
Nothing in these rules limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
These rules are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. They took effect on 30 August 2026.
By entering, you accept these rules and our Terms & Conditions.
